About Dyen Sabai
Dyen Sabai is a Canadian-owned restaurant in Luang Prabang, Laos. We opened in November 2008 and became Lonely Planet's "our pick" for the 2010 Laos Edition.
Our restaurant has three terraces overlooking the Nam Khan River and Luang Prabang City. The largest terrace can accommodate 36 people, and our smallest can sit 10 to 12. These areas have low tables with floor cushions for seating. Our third terrace is ideal for groups and can accommodate 28 people with japanese style seating. For a more private dining experience, we have 2 cozy bamboo huts available. The larger hut has a sindad table and can seat 10-12 people. The smaller hut has a low table and accommodates 4-6 people on floor cushions. In our garden area, we have 5 additional sindad tables for groups wanting to enjoy traditional Lao Barbecue.
Dyen Sabai offers great authentic Lao food and sindad (Lao Barbecue). We also have a Western style menu with many popular items including great breakfast selections. Our full service bar has more than 77 different cocktails on the menu - enough variety to satisfy any craving.
With clean, western-style bathrooms, Dyen Sabai is the perfect place to relax and enjoy the company of friends in beautiful Luang Prabang. Come join us across the river and see for yourself why this "hidden gem" is so very special!
